The Karachi Aero Club’s “Batch Instruction” program offers ground school classes within a group of students at a fixed time. The “Batch Instruction” program is recommended for students who have ample time available to attend regularly scheduled ground classes.

Fly IFR (Instrument Flight Rules)! The Instrument Rating will expand the flying privileges of your pilot’s license and help you become a safer and much more proficient pilot in the process. If you’re a Private Pilot an Instrument Rating will help you tackle marginal weather and get in or out of airports safely. Getting your Instrument Rating

In order to begin training for your Instrument Rating at the Karachi Aero Club, you must:

  • Be at least 17 years of age (Private Pilot's License) or 18 years of age (Commercial Pilot's License).
  • Have an educational qualification of at least Metric, or the equivalent.
  • Be able to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language.
  • Hold a Valid Class 1 (Commercial Pilot) or Class 2 (Private Pilot) medical certificate.
  • Hold a valid CAA Private Pilot’s License or Commercial Pilot’s License.
  • Pay the Membership, Ground School and Security deposit fee.
